Make these ahead of time, and serve at room temperature as a delicious side dish.

Ingredients

Tomato

4 medium, about 200g

Balsamic vinegar

2 tablespoon(s)

Oregano, Dried

1 teaspoon(s), level

Black pepper

¼ teaspoon(s)

Salt

1 pinch

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C, fan 160°C, gas mark 4.
  2. Halve the tomatoes and place cut side up in a small baking dish.
  3. Sprinkle with the vinegar, oregano and seasoning. Bake for about 15 minutes until they just start to soften. Remove and cool, spooning over any pan juices as they cool.
