Ricotta & chia berry jam on toast

Chia seeds are full of omega-3, minerals and antioxidants. Soaking them in cooked berries makes an instant jam that goes well on crusty sourdough toast.

Blueberries

Raspberries

Chia Seeds, dry

Sourdough Bread

Ricotta Cheese

Instructions

Place blueberries, raspberries and 1 tablespoon of water in a small saucepan over medium heat. Cook, stirring, for 3-4 minutes or until berries are soft and releasing juice. Stir in chia seeds and set aside for 10 minutes or until jam thickens.

Top toast with ricotta and jam. Serve.
