For a simple but tasty snack, try this super speedy open sandwich.

Ingredients

Quark, fat free, plain

75 g

Garlic

1 clove(s)

Basil, fresh

10 leaf/leaves

Peach

1 medium

Balsamic vinegar

1½ teaspoon(s)

Brown sandwich thins

2 individual

Parma Ham

4 slice(s), thin

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mash together the quark, garlic and chopped basil, and season to taste.
  2. Halve the peach and and remove the stone, then cut each half into 5 wedges. Put into a bowl, drizzle over the balsamic vinegar and toss together to coat.
  3. Toast the sandwich thins, then put the two halves together and top with the quark and herb mixture. Add 5 peach wedges, 2 slices of ham and some basil leaves to each thin, then serve.
