Nobody will ever guess that canned chickpeas are the secret ingredient to this easy dessert. Enjoy the cookie dough on its own, or served over chopped seasonal fruit. They're a fun, no-bake way to get a protein boost and will remind you of making homemade cookies or your favourite ice cream flavour.

Chickpeas, cooked

Water

Light Brown Sugar

Baking powder
⅛ teaspoon(s), level, or pinch
Vanilla protein powder

Plain White Flour

Milk chocolate chips

Instructions

Puree chickpeas and water in a food processor. Add sugar, salt, baking powder, and protein powder; pulse to combine. Add flour and chocolate chips; pulse to combine. Refrigerate up to 4 days.
