Gravy granules might be fine for the other 364 days of the year, but on Christmas Day they WILL NOT DO! Give this full-flavoured gravy a go instead.

Ingredients

Roast Turkey, Skinless

1 slice(s), medium, Turkey roasting juices

Cornflour

2 tablespoons, level

Chicken stock cube(s)

½ cube(s), 300ml stock

White Wine Vinegar

1 tablespoons

Redcurrant Jelly

1 tablespoons

Instructions

  1. Skim the fat from the roasting tin and set the tin on the hob over a medium heat. Blend the cornflour with 2 tbsp cold water, then gradually whisk into the pan juices.
  2. Stir in 300ml chicken stock, vinegar and jelly, and season to taste. Cook until the gravy has a slightly syrupy consistency. Strain into a jug or gravy boat to serve.
