Enjoy these tasty pork burgers, fired up with chilli and mustard - can be cooked on the barby too!


Ingredients
Lean pork mince 10% fat, raw
450 g
Onion
1 medium
Carrots, raw
1 medium
Sweetcorn, tinned, drained
50 g
Dijon Mustard
12 teaspoon(s), level
Chilli flakes
1 teaspoon(s), level
Dried Mixed Herbs
2 teaspoon(s)
Black pepper
1 g
Salt
1 pinch
Burger bun
4 medium
Lettuce
1 portion(s)
Tomato
1 large
Pickled gherkins, no added sugar
1 large, drained
Instructions

In a large bowl, mix together the minced pork, onion, carrot, sweetcorn, mustard, chilli flakes and herbs. Season with salt and pepper. Use your hands to shape the mixture into 4 burgers. Cover and chill, if cooking them later.

Preheat the grill or a char-grill pan. Grill or char-grill the burgers for 12-15 minutes, turning them over once, until browned and cooked through.

Lightly toast the burger buns on the cut sides only. Put some lettuce onto the bun bases, then add the burgers, sliced tomatoes and gherkins, then pop the bun tops in place.
