Plum and Apple Compote with Spiced Yogurt
500 g, halved and pitted
2 medium, eating, peeled, cored and sliced
200 ml, as purchased, unsweetened
2 tablespoons, dark
Fat Free Natural Yogurt
½ teaspoons, level
- Put the plums, apples and apple juice into a large saucepan. Add the cinnamon stick and muscovado sugar. Heat and simmer gently, without a lid, for about 10 minutes or until the fruit is tender. Leave to cool for 10-15 minutes. Taste and add powdered sweetener, if required.
- Stir the yogurt and mixed spice together. Serve with the fruit compote.
