Mummy flatbread pizzas
You’ll have an easier time getting excitable kids to eat their dinner on Halloween when you set out these whimsical mummy pizzas. They use convenient pitta bread for the base, so they’re quick and easy to put together.

- Preheat the oven to 200°C, fan 180°C, gas mark 6.
- Spread each flatbread with 2 tbsp tomato sauce. Pull the cheese apart into strings and arrange on the base to form mummy “bandages.” Cut each green olive in half crosswise to form the eyes and arrange a piece of black olive in the center of each green olive half to form the pupils. Add 2 olive eyes on each pizza.
- Carefully remove the hot pan from the oven. Arrange the pizzas on the baking tray. Bake for 10 minutes or until the cheese has melted.
It’s a cinch to double the recipe if you need to serve a crowd; simply use two sheet pans in the oven.
