The inviting smell of spices combined with the hot wine will have all your senses tingling!
Ingredients
  • Grape Juice
    425 ml, (3/4 pint) unsweetened red
  • Red Wine
    700 ml
  • Muscovado Sugar
    2 tablespoons, dark or light
  • Root Ginger
    1 teaspoons, fresh (or 1/2 tsp ground ginger)
  • Cloves, Whole or Ground
    4 individual
  • Cinnamon Stick
    2 stick(s)
  • Orange(s)
    1 medium, halved
Instructions
  1. Put wine, water, sugar, ginger, cloves, cinnamon sticks and orange into a very large saucepan. Heat gently until just below boiling point. Do not allow mixture to get too hot.
  2. Pour into a punch bowl or jug and serve hot.
