2 medium, Granny Smith, peeled, cored, and chopped

- Place the butternut squash, apples and apple juice in a shallow microwave-safe dish. Lay the pieces of spread over the top. Cover and microwave for 10-12 minutes, until the squash and apples are tender.
- Mash until smooth yet slightly chunky. Stir in the fresh thyme and season well.
