This is a great smart snack idea.

Ingredients

Kale, raw

200 g

Calorie controlled cooking spray

4 spray(s)

Salt

1 teaspoons

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 190°C, fan 170°C, gas mark 5. Wash 200g of kale, pick the leaves (discard stalks) and dry very thoroughly.
  2. Put the kale in a bowl and mist well with calorie controlled cooking spray. Arrange the kale in a single layer on a nonstick baking sheet.
  3. Bake for 15-20 minutes, rotating the baking sheet half way. Remove from the oven when crisp, but watch carefully – don’t let them scorch.
  4. Rest for 3 minutes (they crisp up more), add salt and serve.
