These minced lamb patties can be barbequed or grilled for a year-round main course. Serve with freshly squeezed lemon juice or your favourite chutney.

Ingredients

Tesco Healthy Living Lean Lamb Mince, typically less than 16% fat

500 g

Patak's Curry Paste Garam Masala Paste

30 g, (2 tsp)

Coriander, Dried

2 teaspoon(s), level

Ground Cumin

1 teaspoon(s), level

Turmeric

½ teaspoon(s)

Salt

1 teaspoon(s)

Tomato

2 medium, seeded and diced

Petits Pois, boiled

140 g, frozen

Fat Free Natural Yogurt

185 g

Coriander, fresh

6 teaspoon(s), chopped1 tsp lemon rind

Lemon

1 medium, cut into 4 wedges, to serve

Instructions

  1. Line a large baking tray with cling wrap.
  2. Thoroughly mix all ingredients together (except lemon wedges) with your hands or a wooden spoon. Form twelve patties and place on prepared baking tray. Refrigerate for 20 minutes.
  3. Preheat grill to high. Cook patties on grill rack, gently turning once, for about 4-5 minutes per side. Serve with lemon wedges.
