Gammon steaks make an easy, speedy dish - so tasty with this delicious baste!

Ingredients

Gammon Steak, Raw

4 steak(s), medium, 4 x 150g, lean

Soy Sauce

4 tablespoon(s)

Lime

1 medium, zest and juice

Lemon grass stems

1 individual, 4cm (1 ½”), finely chopped

Root Ginger

2 teaspoon(s), grated, fresh

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill.
  2. Arrange the gammon steaks on the grill rack.
  3. Mix together the soy sauce, lime rind, lime juice, lemon grass and ginger.
  4. Baste the gammon steaks and grill them for about 4 minutes, per side, basting often.
