These luscious peaches are served still warm with a citrus cream –velvety smooth quark flavoured with vanilla and orange
Quark, fat free, plain
¼ individual, seeds
Freshly squeezed orange juice
½ zest(s) of 1
6 medium, halved and destoned
1 medium, seeds (optional)
- To make the citrus cream, combine the quark, sugar, vanilla seeds and orange zest and juice. Set aside and chill until needed.
- Preheat a griddle pan over a medium-high heat. Add the peaches, cut side down, and cook for 3 minutes on each side until softened and lightly charred.
- Divide the warm peaches among 4 serving bowls and scatter with the pomegranate seeds. Serve with a spoonful of the citrus cream.
