Gluten-free blackberry & apple crumble
You can't beat the traditional crumble - classic comfort food at its best.
600 g, peeled, cored and chopped
150 g, can use frozen
Plain White Flour
70 g, GLUTEN FREE
50 g, GLUTEN FREE
Low Fat Spread
40 g, chilled
- Preheat the oven to 180°C, fan 160°C, gas mark 4. Mix together the apples, blackberries and sugar and spoon into an ovenproof dish.
- Sift the flour into a large mixing bowl, add the low fat spread and cut it through using a knife. Then rub the fat into the flour using your finger tips until it looks like breadcrumbs – alternatively, pulse it together in a food processor. Stir in the oats and sugar and spoon on top of the fruit.
- Bake for 40 minutes until the fruit is cooked and the top golden.
Suitable for freezing.
