If you love bread, this dough is a game-changer! All you need is 0% fat natural Greek yogurt and self-raising flour to make a budget-friendly dough. The breadsticks will keep for up to 3 days in the fridge or up to 3 months in the freezer. Or, make a batch in advance to freeze – they make great snacks, party nibbles and easy dinnertime sides.

Ingredients

White Self Raising Flour

300 g

0% fat natural Greek yogurt

350 g

Salt

½ teaspoon(s)

Low Fat Spread

2 tablespoon(s)

Garlic

2 clove(s), crushed

Parsley, fresh

1 tablespoon(s), chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C, fan 180°C, gas mark 6 and line a baking tray with baking paper. In a large bowl, combine the self-raising flour, Greek yogurt and salt to make a dough. Divide into eight equal portions then roll each one into a 15cm-long breadstick.
  2. Put the breadsticks on the prepared tray and bake for 15 minutes or until crisp. Meanwhile, in a small pan set over a low heat, melt the spread. Stir through the crushed garlic and parsley. Brush the garlic spread over the breadsticks then season and serve immediately.

Notes

Try dipping these into a pizza sauce. It’s a delicious way to upgrade your breadsticks!
