Put fruit centre stage in your desserts and you can afford yourself a lovely big portion. This delicious fruity crumble is the perfect way to warm up a wet and windy autumn evening


Ingredients
Banana
2 medium
Frozen Mixed Berries
200 g
Ginger Nut Biscuits
4 biscuit(s)
Demerara Sugar
15 g
Ground Cinnamon
¼ teaspoon(s), level
Low Fat Spread
1 tablespoon(s)

Preheat the oven to 180°C, fan 160°C, gas mark 4.

Line the bottom of a 12cm round pie dish with the bananas. Top with the mixed berries, making sure they’re evenly spread out.

Put the ginger biscuits in a bowl and crush using the end of a rolling pin. Add the sugar and cinnamon to the crumbs and mix in the spread. Stir well to combine, then dot the crumble mixture evenly across the surface of the fruit.

Bake in the oven for 22-25 minutes or until the crumble begins to turn golden. Remove from the oven, let cool slightly and serve.
