Fillet steak with stir fried veg
Beef fillet steak, lean, raw
1 medium, red, finely sliced
1 medium, or red pepper, deseeded and finely sliced
1 portion(s), medium, or sugar snap peas, halved
1 portion(s), medium, trimmed and halved
2 tablespoons, (ensure gluten free)
2 tablespoons, chopped, or parsley
- Heat the oil in a wok or frying pan. Add the steaks and cook to your liking. Estimate 2-3 minutes per side for rare, 3-4 minutes per side for medium, 4-5 minutes per side for well done.
- Remove the steaks from the pan, cover with foil and allow to rest whilst cooking the vegetables.
- Add the onion, red pepper, mangetout or sugar snap peas and broccoli to the wok or frying pan. Stir fry for 3-4 minutes. Season with soy sauce, salt and pepper. Add the chopped coriander or parsley, then pile onto warmed plates. Slice the steaks and arrange on top, then serve.
