MEMBER RECIPE BY Anna Van Dyken. These cocoa and coconut bliss balls will have your snack time-sorted. Try adding some orange zest and juice for a jaffa twist.

Ingredients

Almonds

100 g

Cocoa Powder

2 tablespoons, level

Date(s), dried

10 individual

Honey

1¼ tablespoons, level

Desiccated Coconut

2½ tablespoons

Instructions

  1. Process almonds, cocoa, dates, honey and syrup in a food processor until a thick paste forms.
  2. Place coconut in a small bowl. Using wet hands, roll 3 teaspoonsful of almond mixture into balls and roll in coconut to coat. Shake off excess and repeat with remaining mixture.

Notes

To make chocolate orange balls, add the grated rind of 1 orange and some juice into the mixture.
