Chocolate-peanut bliss balls

These no-cook peanut butter-and-fruit balls are a great midday snack or dessert. They also make a fabulous on-the-go breakfast - just pair a few with a banana. Keep them in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days. To make these nut-free, swap in your favourite soy butter.


Ingredients
Porridge oats
80 g
Dates, dried
20 individual
Smooth Peanut Butter
2 tablespoon(s), heaped
Cocoa Powder
2 tablespoon(s), level
Desiccated Coconut
30 g
Instructions

Process the oats in a food processor until finely chopped. Add the dates, peanut butter, cocoa and 2 tablespoons of water, process until well combined.

Using damp hands, roll 1 tablespoon of date mixture into a ball. Roll ball into the coconut to coat; place on a plate. Repeat to make 17 more balls. Cover and place in the fridge for 1 hour to firm. Serve.
