Chocolate & orange granola
Perfect with ice-cold milk, as a crunchy topping on yogurt, or as a snack, granola is oh-so versatile.
Sainsbury's Mixed Nuts
100 g, roughly chopped
½ teaspoon(s), flaky sea salt
Freshly squeezed orange juice
1 zest(s) of 1
50 g, finely chopped
- Preheat the oven to 170°C, fan 150°C, gas mark 3. Place the oats, nuts, seeds and salt in a large mixing bowl. Add the maple syrup and fresh juice and, using your hands, combine the mixture until everything is well coated.
- Spread out the mixture in one even layer onto a large baking tray or two smaller ones. Bake in the oven for 25 minutes, stirring once halfway through the cooking time, or until deeply golden and toasted.
- Leave to cool completely on the tray, then stir through the orange zest and dark chocolate. Transfer to an airtight container.
