Perfect with ice-cold milk, as a crunchy topping on yogurt, or as a snack, granola is oh-so versatile.

Ingredients

Porridge oats

200 g

Sainsbury's Mixed Nuts

100 g, roughly chopped

Seed mix

25 g

Salt

½ teaspoon(s), flaky sea salt

Maple Syrup

30 g

Freshly squeezed orange juice

Orange

1 zest(s) of 1

Dark Chocolate

50 g, finely chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 170°C, fan 150°C, gas mark 3. Place the oats, nuts, seeds and salt in a large mixing bowl. Add the maple syrup and fresh juice and, using your hands, combine the mixture until everything is well coated.
  2. Spread out the mixture in one even layer onto a large baking tray or two smaller ones. Bake in the oven for 25 minutes, stirring once halfway through the cooking time, or until deeply golden and toasted.
  3. Leave to cool completely on the tray, then stir through the orange zest and dark chocolate. Transfer to an airtight container.
