Who doesn’t love a chocolate brownie? These are made with Greek yogurt, which keeps them nice and moist, while chocolate chips make them even more indulgent.

Ingredients

Calorie controlled cooking spray

4 spray(s)

Cocoa Powder

90 g

Caster Sugar

150 g

Baking powder

½ teaspoon(s), level

Salt

¼ teaspoon(s)

0% fat natural Greek yogurt

200 g

Egg, whole, raw

2 large, raw, lightly beaten

Vanilla Extract

2 teaspoon(s), level

Dark Chocolate

25 g, chopped or chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 190°C, fan 170°C, gas mark 5. Mist a 20cm square cake tin with cooking spray and line the bottom with baking paper.
  2. Put the cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder and salt in a mixing bowl and stir to combine, then stir in the yogurt, eggs and vanilla extract until well combined.
  3. Stir in the chocolate chips, then spoon the mixture into the prepared tin and level the top with the back of the spoon. Bake for 20 minutes, then allow to cool in the tin for 15 minutes before turning out and cutting into 16 squares.

Notes

If you’re not a fan of dark chocolate, you can use milk or white chocolate chips for the same SmartPoints. The brownies will keep in an airtight container for 2 days.
