Ingredients

Miso

4 teaspoons, bouillon powder

Water

900 ml, (1 ½ pints)

Spring Onions

4 medium, shredded

Peppers, All Types

½ medium, use red, deseeded and finely sliced

Peppers, All Types

½ medium, use yellow, deseeded and finely sliced

Roast Chicken, Mixed Meat, Skinless

100 g, (3 1/2oz), torn into shreds

Chives, Fresh

15 g, to garnish

Instructions

  1. Put the miso bouillon powder into a large saucepan with the water and bring up to the boil.
  2. Reduce the heat and add the spring onion, peppers and chicken. Simmer for 4-5 minutes.
  3. Serve, garnished with chives.Add fresh vegetables according to your preferences – carrots, courgettes and cucumber work well in the broth too.
