Ingredients

Porridge oats

30 g

Apple juice

125 ml, as purchased

Banana

1 medium

Toasted flaked almonds

10 g

Light Brown Sugar

1 teaspoon(s)

Instructions

  1. In a small pan, gently heat the oats and juice, stirring, until thick and creamy. This will take 1-2 minutes.
  2. Heat a frying pan over a low heat and cook the banana for about 30 seconds on each side to caramelise.
  3. Serve the porridge topped with the banana and almonds, and sprinkled with the brown sugar.
