Ingredients

Calorie Controlled Brown Bread

2 slice(s)

Egg, whole, raw

1 medium, raw

Bacon medallions, raw

2 rasher(s), cooked

Half fat Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. From 1 slice of bread, cut out a 2-inch diameter circle. Coat bread slices on both sides with cooking spray.
  2. Mist a medium sized frying pan with cooking spray and heat over a medium heat. Add the two slices of bread and cook for 3-5 minutes on one side, until golden brown. Remove the slice of bread without the hole.
  3. Flip the remaining slice of bread in the frying pan. Crack an egg into the hole in the bread in the frying pan. Season with salt and pepper, then cover the the pan and cook for 5-6 minutes, until the egg white is set.
  4. Place the cheese on top of the egg and top with the cooked bacon. Place the other slice of bread on top, toasted side down. Flip the entire sandwich over and cook 3 to 4 minutes, until bottom is toasted and cheese is melted. Serve immediately.
