Try this easy pud that everyone will enjoy.

Ingredients

Wholemeal bread, sliced

180 g, with crusts on

Raisins

50 g

Ground Cinnamon

1 pinch

Skimmed Milk

3 tablespoon(s)

Apple

2 medium

Low Fat Custard Ready to Serve

200 g

Granulated sugar

½ teaspoon(s)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180ºC, fan 160ºC, gas mark 4. Roughly chop the bread and put it into a mixing bowl with the raisins, cinnamon and milk. Tip into a medium baking dish and set aside.
  2. Core, peel and slice the apples, then dot among the bread mixture. Drizzle over the custard and give everything a gentle mix so the custard seeps through some of the gaps.
  3. Bake for 20 minutes until golden. Sprinkle over the sugar and serve.
