Bread pudding with apples & raisins
Try this easy pud that everyone will enjoy.
Wholemeal bread, sliced
180 g, with crusts on
Low Fat Custard Ready to Serve
- Preheat the oven to 180ºC, fan 160ºC, gas mark 4. Roughly chop the bread and put it into a mixing bowl with the raisins, cinnamon and milk. Tip into a medium baking dish and set aside.
- Core, peel and slice the apples, then dot among the bread mixture. Drizzle over the custard and give everything a gentle mix so the custard seeps through some of the gaps.
- Bake for 20 minutes until golden. Sprinkle over the sugar and serve.
