Ingredients

Apple

1 medium, peeled, chopped

Lemon Juice, Fresh

1 teaspoon(s)

Demerara Sugar

1 teaspoon(s), level

Blackberries

150 g

Ground Cinnamon

1 pinch

Porridge oats

80 g

Skimmed Milk

150 ml

Light Brown Sugar

1 teaspoon(s)

Instructions

  1. Cook the apple with the lemon juice, demerara sugar and 1 tbsp water over a medium heat for 5 minutes.
  2. Add the blackberries, a further 1 tbsp water and a pinch of cinnamon, and cook for 2–3 minutes. Meanwhile, cook the porridge oats in a pan with 300ml water and 150ml skimmed milk over a low heat for 5-10 minutes, stirring, until thickened.
  3. Divide between bowls, top with extra fruit and the light brown sugar.
