Root Ginger

Garlic

Extra lean beef mince (5% fat), raw
500 g
Chinese 5 Spice
1 teaspoon(s), level
Stir fry mixed vegetables
300 g
Brown Rice, dry
150 g, cooked to pack instructions
Soy Sauce
1 tablespoon(s)
Hoisin Sauce
2 teaspoon(s)
Chilli Sauce

Mist a large wok or high-sided nonstick frying pan with cooking spray and place over a high heat. Add the spring onions, ginger and garlic and stir-fry for 1 minute, until softened. Add the beef and cook for 3 minutes, breaking apart with a wooden spoon, until browned.

Add the five-spice powder, cook for 20 seconds, until fragrant, then add the mixed vegetables and stir-fry for 2 minutes.

Add the cooked rice and the three sauces, stir-fry for 1 minute, until heated through.
