Cacao & banana ice 'cream'
This easy, 3-ingredient dessert is full of rich, chocolatey flavour.
Raw Cacao Powder
- Put the chopped bananas in a freezable food bag, seal and freeze for at least 4 hours, or overnight.
- Put the frozen bananas and the cacao powder into the bowl of a small food processor or blender and blitz until smooth.
- Serve immediately with the pistachios scattered over, or transfer to a freezable container and freeze until ready to serve.
You could use either cacao or cocoa powder in this recipe. Cacao is made from raw cacao beans, while cocoa is made from roasted cacao. Both may contain other ingredients that are not vegan. Always check the labels to make sure.
