Balsamic onion & steak sandwiches

Beef sirloin steak, lean, raw
100 g, any visible fat removed
Calorie controlled cooking spray
1 small, use red, finely sliced
1 portion(s), leaves, to serve
- Preheat the oven to gas mark 6, 200°C, fan 180°C. Bake the petits pains for 8-10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, fry the steak for 3–5 minutes, turning once, until cooked to taste. Remove from the pan, cover with foil and leave to rest.
- Mist the frying pan with cooking spray and add the onion. Fry for 5 minutes, or until softened. Add the balsamic vinegar and fry, stirring, for 3–4 more minutes. Split open the petits pains and fill with the steak, onions and rocket leaves. Serve immediately.
