Just the pudding for chilly weather - warming and comforting.

Ingredients

Apple

350 g, baking apples, peeled, cored

Pear

1 medium, peeled cored and sliced

Plums

175 g, halved and pitted

Sultanas

25 g

Ground Cinnamon

½ teaspoon(s), level

Artificial sweetener

4 tablespoon(s), powdered, to taste

Margarine, Soft

25 g

Porridge oats

50 g

Rice flaked

50 g

Light Brown Sugar

50 g, demerara

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to Gas Mark 4/180°C/350°F.
  2. Mix together the apples, pear, plums, sultanas, mixed spice and sweetener. Tip into a 1.25 litre ovenproof dish and add 4 tbsp water.
  3. Melt the margarine. Mix in the porridge oats, flaked rice and sugar. Sprinkle over the fruit.
  4. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
