This bright, tangy sauce is perfect with poached salmon or served as a dip with chilled cooked shrimp.

Ingredients

Plain lowfat yogurt

1 cup(s)

Chives

2 Tbsp, fresh, chopped

Dill

2 Tbsp, fresh, chopped

Uncooked shallot(s)

1 Tbsp, minced

Capers

1 Tbsp, minced (or less to taste)

Fresh lemon juice

1 tsp

Lemon zest

1 tsp

Kosher salt

¼ tsp

Black pepper

1 pinch, freshly ground

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine all ingredients until well-mixed. Keep refrigerated until ready to serve. Yields about 2 tablespoons per serving.

Notes

The sauce can be made and stored in the refrigerator up to 2 days before use.
