Remoulade is a mayonnaise-based sauce, similar to tartar sauce, made with mayonnaise, herbs, chopped pickles, capers, and anchovies, is the sauce you will most likely find topping crab cakes. This sauce replaces the mayonnaise with yogurt and skips the anchovies and capers. It is much lighter, and that allows you to enjoy your crab cakes, fish, and fries all the same. Try as a salad dressing for an iceberg lettuce wedge salad, then top it with cherry tomatoes and more fresh herbs.
