Turkish-style glazed apricots and cherries
Dried apricot halves

Plain fat free Greek yogurt
Shelled pistachio nuts
¼ oz, unsalted, chopped (2 tablespoons)
- Combine the apricots, cherries, orange juice, water, and 3 tablespoons of the sugar in a medium saucepan; bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Reduce the heat and simmer, covered, until the fruit is softened, about 20 minutes. Transfer the fruit mixture to a large bowl and let stand until cool.
- Mix together the yogurt, cinnamon, and the remaining 1 tablespoon sugar in a small bowl.
- Place a generous 1/3 cup of the fruit mixture in each of 4 dessert dishes. Top each with 2 tablespoons yogurt mixture and 1 1/2 teaspoons pistachios. Yields 1 dessert per serving.
