Turkey bagel-sandwich with avocado and green apple

This is not your ordinary turkey sandwich. Avocado lends a nice creamy, buttery texture and apple gives sweetness and crunch. Instead of slicing them both, you can spread the avocado over the bagel and julienne the apple for a different texture. Apples and avocados contain a wide variety of healthy nutrients. They make great additions to salads and side dishes as well.


Ingredients
Reduced fat whipped cream cheese
2 Tbsp
Plain bagel
2 oz, lightly toasted
Turkey breast lunch meat
2 oz, thinly sliced
Granny Smith apple
⅛ small, unpeeled (2 thin slices)
Avocado
⅛ item(s), ripe (3 thin slices)
Instructions

Spread cream cheese evenly over both sides of toasted bagel. Layer turkey, apple, and avocado on bottom half of bagel (add sprouts - optional); top with remaining bagel half.
