Turkey and roasted pepper sandwiches with lemony-cheese spread
Low fat cream cheese
¼ cup(s), (Neufchâtel), softened
½ tsp, or dried oregano
Whole wheat bread
Cooked turkey breast without skin
12 oz, thinly sliced
Roasted red peppers (packed in water)
½ cup(s), thinly sliced
- Mash together cream cheese, lemon zest, Italian seasoning, and black pepper in a small bowl.
- Spread cheese mixture evenly over 4 slices of the bread. Layer evenly with turkey, roasted red pepper, and basil. Cover with remaining slices of bread.
