This dish is so quick to make, you can whip it up for lunch; a great alternative to a tuna fish sandwich!
canned diced tomatoes14 ½ oz
water-packed tuna fish drained10 oz, solid, white
fat-free Italian salad dressing½ cup(s)
olive(s)8 large, black, pitted and chopped
basil1 Tbsp, fresh, chopped
garlic clove(s)1 clove(s), medium, minced
table salt⅛ tsp, or to taste
black pepper⅛ tsp, or to taste
cooked fettucine4 cup(s), kept hot
- In a large saucepan, combine all ingredients except pasta.
- Bring to boil; simmer 10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve over hot fettuccine. Yields about 1 cup sauce and 1 cup pasta per serving.
