This no-cook side dish will fast become a summer staple. Bring it to a picnic or serve at your next barbecue.
Ingredients

uncooked green snap beans

1 cup(s), fresh, chopped into bite-sized pieces

canned lima beans

½ cup(s), rinsed and drained

chickpeas (15 oz)

½ cup(s), rinsed and drained

uncooked green peas

1 cup(s), fresh or frozen and thawed

uncooked red onion(s)

½ medium, minced

balsamic vinegar

¼ cup(s)

olive oil

½ tsp

dry mustard

½ tsp

dried oregano

½ tsp

dried basil

½ tsp

table salt

¼ tsp

Instructions

  1. Mix beans, peas and onion together in a medium bowl.
  2. Combine remaining ingredients together in a cup and toss with bean mixture. Cover and marinate in refrigerator for at least 4 hours or up to overnight. Yields about 3/4 heaping cup per serving.
