Spicy Edamame Pods

In-the-pod edamame is fun to eat, and the minimal work of getting the green soybeans out of their shells can help to slow your snacking down. Simply salted edamame is great, but once you try this spicy version—made nutty with a little toasted sesame oil—you’ll be hooked.

Ingredients

Edamame in pods

12 oz, frozen

Chili garlic sauce

2 tsp

Toasted sesame oil

1 tsp

Flaky salt

¼ tsp

Instructions

In a medium microwave-safe bowl, place the edamame. Cover and microwave on High until thoroughly heated, 4 to 5 minutes. Drain off any water.

In a small bowl, whisk together the chili garlic sauce and oil; drizzle over the edamame and toss to coat. Sprinkle with salt.
