Peanuts, pretzels and rice cereal bring the crunch while the buttery, salty heat comes from the spice coating which includes cumin, cayenne and curry powder. Dial your heat level to your tastes. Ingredients
Unsalted butter
2 Tbsp, melted
Curry powder
1 Tbsp
Less sodium soy sauce
1 Tbsp
Sugar
1½ tsp
Paprika
1½ tsp
Ground cumin
1 tsp
Table salt
½ tsp
Cayenne pepper
¼ tsp
Puffed rice cereal
2½ cup(s)
Pretzel twist
4 oz, mini variety (1/2 cup)
Oil-roasted peanuts (salted)
3 Tbsp, lightly salted
Instructions

Stir together the butter, curry powder, soy sauce, sugar, paprika, cumin, salt and cayenne in a small bowl.

Toss together the rice Chex, corn Chex, and pretzel twists in a large bowl. Add the butter mixture to the cereal mixture and toss until evenly coated. Stir in the peanuts. Yields about 1/2 cup per serving.
