uncooked whole-wheat spaghetti

½ pound(s)

uncooked asparagus

1 pound(s), trimmed and cut into 2-inch lengths

frozen green peas

1 cup(s), petite

packaged smoked trout

½ pound(s), skinned and flaked, (if following the Simply Filling plan, use Echo Falls brand)

extra virgin olive oil

4 tsp

lemon zest

2 tsp, grated

fresh lemon juice

3 Tbsp

table salt

¼ tsp

black pepper

¼ tsp

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions adding asparagus and peas during last 2 minutes of cooking time. Drain and return to pot. Add trout, oil, lemon zest and juice, salt, and pepper, tossing until mixed.
