Use your favorite flavor of sparkling water to top off these Mexican tequila-and-citrus cocktails. They're super refreshing on a warm summer night, and fabulous paired with a platter of grilled fish tacos.

Ingredients

Pink grapefruit juice

12 fl oz, or red grapefruit juice, freshly squeezed

Tequila

3 fl oz

Fresh lime juice

2 tsp

Sparkling water

2 fl oz, grapefruit variety

Grapefruit

⅛ medium, cut into 2 slices for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Pour grapefruit juice, tequila, and lime juice into a small pitcher; stir to combine.

Salt rims of two glasses; add some ice to each glass.

Divide mixture between glasses; top each with a splash of sparkling water and garnish with an optional slice of grapefruit.
