Sautéed green beans
uncooked string beans
1 pound(s), trimmed
fresh lemon juice
1 Tbsp, or to taste (optional)
2 Tbsp, chives, oregano, parsley, tarragon, or thyme, chopped, or to taste (optional)
- Heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat. Add half of green beans and cook, stirring frequently, until tender, 3 to 5 minutes (add a few tbsp water if needed). Transfer beans to a large bowl. Repeat with remaining green beans. Add salt and pepper to beans and toss to coat. Add a squeeze of lemon juice and/or a sprinkle of fresh herbs, toss to coat.
