We spruced-up bottled teriyaki sauce to make a super-easy, super-flavorful salmon recipe that's great over a rice bowl, a bed of greens, or as part of a multi-dish Japanese meal.

Garlic powder

Uncooked salmon

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a small sheet pan with foil and coat the foil with cooking spray.

In a small bowl, whisk together the teriyaki sauce, ginger, and garlic powder; set aside 1 ½ tbsp of the sauce. Arrange the salmon on the prepared pan; brush the remaining sauce evenly over the fish. Bake until the fish flakes easily with a fork or to the desired degree of doneness. Drizzle the reserved 1 ½ tbsp sauce over the salmon; sprinkle with the sesame seeds.
