Quick Orange-Cranberry Relish

orange zest2 Tbsp, finely grated
orange(s)1 medium, peeled, seeded, coarsely chopped
jalapeño pepper(s)1 medium, cored, seeded, chopped
fresh cranberries12 oz, or frozen (about 3 c)
walnut(s)¼ cup(s), halves
kosher salt¼ tsp, coarse, or to taste
black pepper1 pinch, freshly ground, or to taste
- Place zest, orange and jalapeño in bowl of a food processor fitted with a metal blade; pulse until finely chopped. Add sugar and cranberries; continue to pulse until berries are coarsely chopped.
- Add walnuts; pulse to combine. Season with salt and pepper. Allow relish to chill for at least 30 minutes, and up to 2 days. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
