This recipe is as quick and easy as it gets and features the combination of our two favorite types of ingredients: dry-cured meats and fresh fruits. In this version, strips of prosciutto are wrapped around slices of cantaloupe or honeydew, or frankly whatever you've got on hand. All that's left to do is to drizzle with a touch of balsamic vinegar, top with some fresh basil, and season with a pinch of black pepper. It's the fast, most convenient yet delicious snack we can think of. You can also scale the recipe up to serve as a beautiful, light appetizer before a dinner party.

Ingredients

Prosciutto

1 oz, cut into 3 long strips

Cantaloupe

3 wedge(s), large, or honeydew

Balsamic vinegar

1 tsp

Fresh basil

1 Tbsp, fresh leaves, thinly sliced

Black pepper

1 pinch(es)

Instructions

Wrap strip of prosciutto around each slice of melon. Arrange on plate and drizzle with vinegar. Sprinkle with basil and pepper.
