Is there anything that doesn’t automatically become more delicious with a sprinkle of that fairy dust known as Parm? If so, we haven’t found it. Use this same preparation on other veggies like potatoes, asparagus, or zucchini.

Ingredients
Cooking spray
4 spray(s)
Broccoli
1 head(s)
Kosher salt
⅜ tsp
Black pepper
¼ tsp
Grated Parmesan cheese
¼ cup(s)
Instructions
1
Preheat the oven to 425°F. Coat a large sheet pan with cooking spray.
2
Trim the broccoli stem to 2 inches from the base of the florets. Starting from the stem end, cut the broccoli head in half lengthwise. Cut each half again lengthwise to make 4 thick slices. Arrange the slices, flat-side down, on the prepared pan. Season with the salt and black pepper. Roast for 10 minutes.
3
Remove the pan from the oven. Flip the broccoli steaks over. Sprinkle each broccoli steak with 1 tbsp cheese. Roast until the stems are tender when pierced with a knife, about 10 minutes. Preheat the broiler on High. Broil the broccoli until the cheese is lightly browned, about 1 minute.
