Ingredients
Vegetable oil
1 tsp
Onion
½ medium, thinly sliced
Fresh ginger
1 piece(s), 1 inch, thinly sliced
Uncooked lean top sirloin steak, trimmed
1 pound(s), thinly sliced
Dashi
1 cup(s)
Mirin
¾ cup(s)
Sugar
2 Tbsp
Soy sauce
¼ cup(s)
Cooked cauliflower rice
4 cup(s)
Scallions
1 medium, thinly sliced (for garnish)
Instructions

In a medium pot, heat up the oil on medium. Add the onion and ginger. Cook until golden and fragrant, stirring often.

Add the beef and cook until halfway cooked through. Add the dashi, sugar, and mirin. Heat to a boil on high, then reduce heat to maintain a simmer. Add the soy sauce. Simmer 10 to 15 minutes, until beef is cooked through and tender.

Serve over cauliflower rice or with vegetables. Garnish with the green onions.
