Chocolate and nut apple rings

Our easy recipe transforms PB & apple into an indulgent-feeling snack, thanks to the crunch of almonds and a finishing drizzle of chocolate syrup. A little syrup goes a long way, with plenty of coverage and chocolaty goodness for all of the apple rings.


Ingredients
Powdered peanut butter
6 Tbsp
Apple
1 medium, cored and cut into 6 thick rings
Slivered almonds (unsalted, no oil or sugar added)
2 Tbsp
Light chocolate syrup
1½ Tbsp
Instructions

In a small bowl, stir together the powdered peanut butter and enough water to create a smooth, spreadable consistency, about 3 tablespoons (add more water, ½ tsp at a time, if needed). Spread the peanut butter evenly over the apple rings; sprinkle with the almonds and drizzle the chocolate syrup on top.
