Here’s a fruit-based sauce that’s perfect for chicken, turkey burgers, or grilled salmon and takes just five minutes to put together. Apricots, apple cider vinegar, and ground ginger and cloves evoke the flavors of fall. Blend 'em all together and it's as easy as it gets. Want it spicier as the weather gets even cooler? Add a dash of hot sauce. You'll want this sauce on hand at all times, which is very doable, since it lasts in the fridge for up to two weeks!

Ingredients

apricot preserves

1 cup(s)

chili sauce

½ cup(s)

apple cider vinegar

3 Tbsp

low sodium soy sauce

1 Tbsp

ground ginger

1 tsp, or less to taste

ground cloves

½ tsp

Instructions

  1. Place all the ingredients in a blender or a food processor; blend or process until smooth. To store, scrape into a bowl, cover and refrigerate for up to two weeks. Yields about 1 1/2 tablespoons per serving.
