Here’s a fruit-based sauce that’s perfect for chicken, turkey burgers, or grilled salmon and takes just five minutes to put together. Apricots, apple cider vinegar, and ground ginger and cloves evoke the flavors of fall. Blend 'em all together and it's as easy as it gets. Want it spicier? Add a dash of hot sauce. This is a versatile sauce to have on hand, and it lasts in the fridge for up to a week.

Ingredients

Apricot preserves

1 cup(s)

Chili sauce

½ cup(s)

Apple cider vinegar

3 Tbsp

Less sodium soy sauce

1 Tbsp

Ground ginger

1 tsp

Ground cloves

½ tsp

Instructions

  1. In blender or food processor, blend all ingredients until smooth. Serve sauce with grilled chicken, turkey burgers, or salmon. Transfer sauce to bowl. (You’ll have a little more than 11⁄2 cups.) Store sauce in covered plastic or glass container and refrigerate for up to 1 week.
  2. Per serving: about 1 1/2 tbsp
